It is approximately two hours south of New Orleans. The only state-owned and operated beach on the Louisiana Gulf Coast, Grand Isle State Park offers excellent opportunities for fishing, crabbing, sunning, camping and nature watching.

On behalf of myself, elected officials and residents of the Town of Grand Isle, we are inviting everyone to visit our beautiful town. In the past years, we have welcomed tens of millions of visitors to participate in the fun activities that our community has to offer. The fish are always biting and fresh seafood is caught daily.
